Some of us are just going with the flow with this economic recessin, while several find it hard to adapt the situation. Each day passes, and it seems like everything is getting worse. The unemployment rate is at the highest it has been since the early 1980’s. Sadly, I too have become a victim of this economic turmoil. I recently got laid off in an industry that was failing all over the nation. It left me feeling clueless and desperate to find a new career opportunity that would match my expertise. I hate reading the National Post! I live in Central Alberta. Even if there is a 50% reduction in spending (that is the "end of the world" prediction from CIBC World Markets) there is still $50 BILLION worth of projects in the process of being constructed. Many of these have 10 year horizons for construction.
